I bought it in the 90s for a Skate contest and then dismantled it and kept it until today! In addition to the historical value there is to add what made these tables A REAL LEGEND! Check the last photo. This is an original 80s JJ V8 I recently bought with the intention of cleaning it up. There was a ton of ink sharpie? All over the bottom, and I spent some time trying to remove it safely… Without messing up the graphic. After several hours of effort, I decided I was enough. I have another one, so Im passing this along. I dont think this will get much better without totally ruining the graphic, so I added a quick layer of clear satin lacquer, and thats where it stands today. The deck itself is in good shape overall. Its drilled for rails, but never had Nose or tail plastic. Graphic is pretty good, probably 95% all there at least. Grip was removed, and top graphic is in tact also.. There are two versions of this graphic that Im aware of. One has chrome in the SANTA CRUZ lettering, and one does not. This one obviously does not have the chrome lettering.
