The Ultimate Street Cruiser & Film Rig. Every skateboarder knows the pain of grabbing a classic popsicle deck to cruise the neighborhood, only to have a single pebble bring the board to a dead stop. This custom build solves that problem entirely. Built from the ground up rather than assembled from a cheap department-store box, this complete merges classic 90s/2000s skate nostalgia with modern city-cruising performance. At its heart sits the sought-after Blind “DJ Reaper” deck, paying homage to Marc McKee’s legendary Reaper character scratching dual vinyl turntables. Up top, the board is wrapped in the head-turning Santa Cruz x Killer Acid collab grip tape, blending Rob Corradetti’s psychedelic line art with the iconic Screaming Hand. Underneath, a pair of pristine raw Independent Stage 11 trucks roll over 69mm 78a translucent purple Cloud Ride wheels on riser pads. Whether you are using this as a smooth, silent filmer board, a daily campus commuter that glides over cracked asphalt, or a centerpiece for a vintage skate deck collection, every single part on this rig was handpicked for maximum performance and curb appeal. Component Specifications & Item Condition. Deck: Blind Skateboards “DJ Reaper” 7-ply Canadian hard rock maple popsicle deck. Condition: Excellent structural integrity. Deck retains full pop, crisp rail edges, and zero delamination or stress cracks around the bolt holes. Edge wear is strictly cosmetic paint scraping along the outer tip of the tail and nose. The central turntable graphic is glossy, bold, and entirely free of board slides or gouges. Grip Tape: Mob x Santa Cruz x Killer Acid full-deck graphic sheet. Condition: Very clean (8.5/10). Gritty, grippy, and securely adhered edge-to-edge with no peeling, air bubbles, or shoe-drag tears. Trucks: Independent Truck Company Standard Stage 11 Raw (Silver finish). Condition: Near mint (9.5/10). Hangers, baseplates, and axles show virtually zero grind wear, curb rash, or rail marks. Original Independent amber bushings and washers are fresh and responsive. Wheels: Cloud Ride Cruiser 69mm / 78a soft cruising wheels (Translucent Purple urethane). The contact surface is smooth with no flat spots, chunking, or coning. Core logos (“Cloud Ride 69mm 78a”) remain crisp and visible. Bearings: Red-shielded precision 608 skate bearings, smooth spinning and free of dirt clogs. Risers & Hardware: 1/4-inch rigid riser/shock pads installed to eliminate wheel bite from the 69mm wheels. Hardened countersunk black hardware installed throughout, featuring a single silver directional bolt at the front truck for immediate stance orientation. Decals: Authentic period accents applied to the graphic belly (Blind block font, Vans Off the Wall checkerboard, Cloud Ride blimp, and Santa Cruz / Odd Future hits) accenting the artwork without blocking the central DJ Reaper design. Complete Value Inventory (Aftermarket Parts & Add-ons). Blind Skateboards “DJ Reaper”. Classic Blind Reaper nostalgia artwork; highly desirable graphic. Santa Cruz x Killer Acid (Mob Grip collab). Independent Stage 11 Raw Standard (Silver). Top-tier street truck standard; pristine condition adds major standalone resale value. Cloud Ride 69mm 78a (Translucent Purple). Premium soft cruiser wheels; turns a standard street deck into an effortless sidewalk cruiser. Red-shielded Skate Bearings (Bones Reds/Cloud Ride style). Black Shock/Riser Pads (1/4).
