My mother had bought this for me on my 10th or 11th birthday back in 1986 or 87 and on that day I was up at the Loma Vista Shopping Center in Kansas City Missouri skating which at the time I was on a crappy Orange Nash skateboard and my mother had showed up which was quite a surprise and as she proceeded to walk into the coast to coast hardware store where we had a local skate shop inside there my mom just said come on she knew I had been wanting that board for about 6 months so we went in and built it.
