Santa Cruz / Hosoi. Christian Hosoi Pro model. 10.0″ x 30.125″. 15.0 Wheel Base. Metallic CANDY MINT Dipped/Paint Finish. Brand new in Shrink. Santa Cruz “Slimeball” Wheels. N ew Hosoi pro model from Santa Cruz Skateboards. This is a reissue of the mid 1980s Collage deck but finished in a metallic mint paint. It is a metallic gloss finish which has an almost pearl like sheen to it. Santa Cruz haven’t issued this deck for about 5 or 6 years now so grab one whilst you can! The only change is that it is now drilled with the modern truck hole spacing. This has been built up by ourselves at Conflict to be a really great 1980s board using parts that work & keep the 80s look – nothing that isn’t period correct looking or performing. It is set up with Sushi “California” trucks. These great looking, strong trucks are based on the Indy design so they turn well but are way cheaper! The width is between Indy 159s & 169s so perfect on the “Collage” deck. The wheels are OJ II “Rockets” -Christian Hosoi’s pro wheels originally from the late 1980s. They are the original shape, original size and most importantly have the original graphics so are perfect on this deck. All in all a superb set-up just as you’d have rode in the mid/late 1980s. NOTE : Shown pictured in parts but will be sent fully built unless you request left unbuilt. Black, fitted leaving the top logo showing. Cruz missile II concave (medium/deep with mellow nose kick, front rocker, and a steep tail). 15.0 WB (measured from inner to inner holes). New hole pattern truck drillings. Width over front truck : 8.75. Width over rear truck : 8.25. Black Griptape (applied showing top graphic). 6 hole baseplate – fits almost all boards. Wheels OJ “Hosoi Sky Rockets”. Center-set profile (but asymetrically shaped). Sushi Chrome ABEC 5 Bearings.
