Old Skool 1980s Shaped Deck. 10.0″ x 30.12″. 15.25 Wheel Base. Metallic SILVER Prismatic Streak Dipped/Paint Finish. Brand new in Shrink. N ew Jeff Kendall pro model from Santa Cruz Skateboards. This is a reissue of the 1987 Pumpkin deck but finished in a crazy metallic silver prismatic paint. The colour can appear different in different lights and when viewed from different angles. It was originally available in the late 1980s but has a pretty short nose for the time – most decks were starting to get more double ended looking at the time, Jeff obviously wasn’t on the bandwagon. The concave is Santa Cruz’s classic “Cruz Missile II”‘cave which is medium/deep with a front rocker and a shallow nose kick. The tail is steep with an extra little “flip” over the last couple of inches. This really grabs your back foot making it feel glued on! I’m now riding a SC deck with this concave (Dressen Tribal reissue) and absolutely love it. Trucks – 169s / 9.0″plus: Indy 169s, Tracker 6 Tracks, Gullwing Shadow 9.0″ or Sushi “California” for a cheaper option. (149s would also work if you like your wheels “in” a little). Wheels – Santa Cruz reissues: Slimeballs, Bigballs, Teamriders or OJ Combos; Powell reissues: Rat Bones or G-Bones. If you fancy more modern wheels then keep them 56mm or bigger. Transport Wheels – Kryptonics “Star Trac” wheels 55mm or 60mm. The reds are the softest and so best for transport but even the blues and greens still transport really well or Santa Cruz “Slimeball Maggots”.
