Vintage 1979 Santa Cruz Salba Bevel 2 Skateboard the second of three versions. The first was designed around 1979 without Steves name. It was the first deck ever to be release with full concave all around. Steve promoted this ground-breaking concept, and when this Bevel 2 came out (also 1979) it had his name (in Flintstone lettering). The third more common Bevel 3 mode came out (usually in yellow) in 1980. This board has been modified, probably early on in the early 80s. The purple paint stripes were added later. The as-is colorway is pretty sweet, but the deck originally would have just been black dip. All around the deck is pretty solid, but clearly used, dinged up, and much of the bottom graphic gone.
