T his is just superb. It’s a reissue of the iconic Kendall E. W deck of the late 1980s set up as a cruiser/transport board. The graphics are, like most SC graphics, by the legendary Jim Phillips. The deck has medium depth concave. This has a double “flip” to the tail, front rocker and a mellow nose kick. The shape and concave looks to be pretty much the same as the original- mid 80s before boards went double ended. It’s kitted out with one of the best transport wheels going – Slimeball “OG” which are super soft 78a hardness and 60mm diameter. These enable it to eat up rough roads and smooth out the worst skate spots you can find… But swap them for some Slimeball “Vomits” in 97a and you then have a really great pool board too. The trucks are Krux 8.5. Great trucks that are strong and good turning – I rode the exact same trucks on my boards for years. They are mounted on 1/4 risers to give a little more wheel clearance so you can really lean into the turns without wheelbite fears. The blue Santa Cruz rails complete the 80s look and what a look it is. The deck has never been available in this colourway before- sorry Roskopp collectors it only comes as a complete direct from Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz – Kendall E. SANTA CRUZ Grabke Exploding Clock Skateboard 10 Complete WHITE SLIMEBALLS 80s

10″ x 29.83″ 15 Wheelbase. WHITE Dipped Paint Finish. Legend “Exploding Clock” deck originally released in 1988. The shape is true to the original as is the concave and Jim Phillips graphics. A short nose, big. Classic “fish” style 1980s deck. It has a medium/deep concave, a short kicked mellow nose and a steep tail. It’s the funky Cruz Missile II concave which features a double flip on the tail and front rocker – the same as used on the popular. This has been built up by ourselves at Conflict to be a really great 1980s board using parts that work & keep the 80s look – nothing that isn’t period correct looking or performing. It is set up with Sushi “California” trucks. These great looking, strong trucks are based on the Indy design so they turn well but are way cheaper! The width is between Indy 159s & 169s so perfect on this deck. The wheels are Santa Cruz. Wheels originally from the late 1980s. They are the original shape, original size and most importantly have the original graphics so are perfect on this deck. All in all a superb set-up just as you’d have rode in the mid/late 1980s. 10.54″ x 30.14″. 15.25 Wheel Base. Printed with Metallic Ink. Matt Black Dipped/Paint Finish (Dark Grey). Sushi 8.875 Trucks. Pro model from Santa Monica Airlines / Santa Cruz Skateboards. This is a reissue of his mid 80s Panther deck which was the most popular of all of his decks and still is with collectors today. It was originally available in the mid/late 1980s. A true reissue with the same shape, size, concave and graphic. The concave is medium/deep on a twin kick profile but a much shorter nose than tail. Still some there to use if you wanted to skate one though just not a 7 inch monster like many modern pool decks have. Probably the nicest looking Natas reissued, so far, thanks to the metallic finished inks contrasting with the matte black (grey) dip. This has been built up by ourselves at Conflict to be a really great 1980s board using parts that work & keep the 80s look – nothing that isn’t period correct looking or performing. Old Skool 1980s Shaped Deck. 10.0″ x 30.12″. 15.25 Wheel Base. Metallic SILVER Prismatic Streak Dipped/Paint Finish. Santa Cruz “Slimeball” Wheels. N ew Jeff Kendall pro model from Santa Cruz Skateboards. This is a reissue of the 1987 Pumpkin deck but finished in a crazy metallic silver prismatic paint. The colour can appear different in different lights and when viewed from different angles. It was originally available in the late 1980s but has a pretty short nose for the time – most decks were starting to get more double ended looking at the time, Jeff obviously wasn’t on the bandwagon. The concave is Santa Cruz’s classic “Cruz Missile II”‘cave which is medium/deep with a front rocker and a shallow nose kick. The tail is steep with an extra little “flip” over the last couple of inches. This really grabs your back foot making it feel glued on! This has been built up by ourselves at Conflict to be a really great 1980s board using parts that work & keep the 80s look – nothing that isn’t period correct looking or performing. Jeff Grosso Pro model. 10.0″ x 29.5″. 15.0 Wheel Base. Metallic CANDY ORANGE Dipped/Paint Finish. Santa Cruz “Slimeball” Wheels. N ew Jeff Grosso pro model from Santa Cruz Skateboards. This is a reissue of the mid 1980s Toybox deck but finished in a metallic orange paint. It is a metallic gloss finish which has an almost pearl like sheen to it. I can’t remember Santa Cruz reissuing this one before in the original 80s shape and concave. The last two times they have done this graphic it has been an a more modern, long nosed shape. The concave is medium/mellow with a shallow nose kick & a big steep tail – just as the originals. The only differences are the truck holes are modern spaced and the paint dip is better than the finishes we had back in the 80s. This has been built up by ourselves at Conflict to be a really great 1980s board using parts that work & keep the 80s look – nothing that isn’t period correct looking or performing.
