It’s kitted out with one of the best transport wheels going. “Slime OG” which are super soft 78a hardness and 60mm diameter. The shape and concave look to be pretty much the same as the original, even the top graphic looks to be period correct. These enable it to eat up rough roads and smooth out the worst skate spots you can find… But swap them for some Slimeball “Vomits” in 97a and you then have a really great pool board too. Old Skool 1980s Shaped Deck. 10.13″ x 32″. 15.5 Wheel Base. Metallic PURPLE Dipped/Paint Finish. Santa Cruz “Slimeball – Vomit” Wheels. N ew Natas Kapas pro model from Santa Monica Airlines / Santa Cruz Skateboards. This is a reissue of his late 80s Evil Cat deck where the panther graphics of his earlier models had evolved into a sort of Freddie Kruger panther. Popular back in the day and since this board has never been reissued sure to popular again today… It was originally available in the late 1980s and so has a pretty long nose with the option of moving the front truck back to give even more “conk” – this was just before decks started to get really double ended but it still has plenty of nose if you want one to ride. The concave is Santa Cruz’s classic “Cruz Missile II”‘cave which is medium/deep with a front rocker and a shallow nose kick. The tail is steep with an extra little “flip” over the last couple of inches. This really grabs your back foot making it feel glued on! I’m now riding a SC deck with this concave (Winkowski – Dope planet) and absolutely love it. This has been built up by ourselves at Conflict to be a really great 1980s board using parts that work & keep the 80s look – nothing that isn’t period correct looking or performing. It is set up with Sushi “California” trucks. These great looking, strong trucks are based on the Indy design so they turn well but are way cheaper! The width is between Indy 159s & 169s so perfect on the “Collage” deck. The wheels are Slimeball “Vomit” wheels originally from the late 1980s. They are the original shape, original size and most importantly have the original graphics so are perfect on this deck. All in all a superb set-up just as you’d have rode in the mid/late 1980s.
